Most of the time, when you go to a museum cafe you know two things: it's going to be pricey, and portions are going to be small. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, and, well, the portion size wasn't small. For one thing, there were six good sized shrimp as well as numerous pieces of sausage, all wrapped in creamy grits. I also ordered some cornbread and an iced tea. This wasn't cafe fare - this was a full on dining experience. And while it wasn't inexpensive, it was close to $40 with tax and tip, I left VERY full and very happy. Honestly, I could've had half and taken half home for another meal, but I was just too hungry. The dining hall was very spacious and the tables and chairs were very comfortable. One other nice touch - there are iced water stations throughout the dining hall. I filled up four times as I had my meal. This place rocks. I'll definitely be back! It's a favorite find!

I'm a true Foodie fan of all the food at Town Fare and especially love the fried chicken & sweet potato waffle. This visit I brought a friend from Houston, TX and she could not stop saying how much she loved the fried chicken. She will be back in a couple of months and plans to make this her first stop.
